Why this formula
Cyclopentasiloxane and Isododecane
Cyclopentasiloxane and Isododecane function together as the dual volatile carrier system of this formula, both evaporating rapidly after application and depositing the matte pigment and film-forming resins directly onto the lip surface without leaving behind a liquid base that would compromise the flat, shine-free matte finish.
Trimethylsiloxysilicate
Trimethylsiloxysilicate is the primary longwear anchor in this formula, a silicone resin film-former that deposits a hydrophobic, flexible film across the lip surface after the volatile carriers evaporate, building the transfer-resistant wear structure that maintains color definition through eating, drinking, and contact throughout the day.
Acrylates/Dimethicone Copolymer
Acrylates/Dimethicone Copolymer is a hybrid silicone-acrylate film-former that builds a complementary flexible wear layer alongside the Trimethylsiloxysilicate resin, producing a wear structure that moves with the lip surface during expression rather than cracking or lifting at the corners or along expression lines during extended wear.
