Before you begin
This tool uses your device camera to estimate your skin tone. In plain terms:
- Your photo is analysed entirely on your own device, inside this browser. It is never uploaded to Opuliss or anyone else.
- We never store your photo or your face. It is gone the moment you close this page.
- The result is an estimate that narrows your shade range, not a guaranteed match. The final check is your own jawline in daylight.
- Optional feedback: if you tap Send feedback at the end, we receive only your anonymous colour reading (a few numbers) and comment, never your photo or name. Kept up to 90 days, then deleted automatically.
Why we spell this out: a camera reading skin can be treated as biometric information under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act and the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifiers Act. Those laws center on informed consent and on not retaining the data, and this tool is built around both: it asks your consent first, reads only on your device, and keeps nothing. Opuliss never receives, stores, or shares your image or face data, and none of it leaves your device.
