Opuliss Beauty operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the Services). Opuliss Beauty is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information We Collect or Process

When we use the term personal information, we refer to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information collected anonymously or de identified so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you.

We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this personal information, depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law:

Contact details, including your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
Financial information, including payment card details, transaction details, form of payment, payment confirmation, and other payment details. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Account information, including your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
Transaction information, including the items you view, put in your cart, add to your wishlist, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, and your past transactions.
Communications with us, including the information you include in communications with us, for example when sending a customer support inquiry.
Device information, including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
Usage information, including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.

We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information, and you should not submit sensitive personal information through the Services. The one exception is our optional on-device camera tools, our Virtual Try-On and Shade Finder, described under "Biometric Information: Our On-Device Camera Tools" below; those tools read face or skin data only on your own device to show you a preview, and never transmit, store, or share it, so no biometric identifier ever reaches Opuliss.

Biometric Information: Our On-Device Camera Tools

Opuliss offers two optional tools that use your device camera: a Virtual Try-On that previews a makeup shade on your face, and a Shade Finder that estimates your skin tone. To place the shade or estimate your tone, each reads the position of your facial features, or your skin color, from your camera. This reading happens only in your browser, on your own device, in the moment, and is discarded instantly, frame by frame. Opuliss never receives, stores, shares, or sells any image or biometric identifier from these tools, and no image or biometric identifier ever leaves your device, so there is no retention schedule and nothing to delete. The camera never turns on until you give explicit, feature-specific consent, you never need an account, and declining or closing the tool is your opt-out. A camera reading of face geometry or skin can be treated as biometric information under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act and the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifiers Act, which center on informed consent and on not retaining the data; this tool asks your consent first, processes only on your device, and keeps nothing. These tools are intended for people aged 13 and older. For detail, see our Virtual Try-On Privacy Notice and our Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information page. If we ever offer a way to save or share a rendered image, that feature will carry its own separate consent and notice.
