RHODOPHYCEAE HYDRATION MOISTURISER
A daily rhodophyceae moisturiser with no added fragrance for dry, sensitive skin. Red algae oligosaccharides and multi-weight hyaluronic acid bind water at the skin surface, while wild mango kernel butter comforts and conditions.
Backed by published research · references belowFormulated for Dry Skin and Sensitive Skin.
- Hydrolyzed Rhodophyceae (Red Algae) Extract, an oligosaccharide humectant, binds water at the stratum corneum surface and forms a brief hygroscopic film during the wear window1.
- Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid, pairing Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid with Sodium Hyaluronate, a glycosaminoglycan that can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water2.
- Irvingia Gabonensis (Wild Mango) Kernel Butter, a plant-derived lipid emollient, comforts and conditions.
Hero mechanism: Hydrolyzed Rhodophyceae (Red Algae) Extract, an oligosaccharide humectant, supplies carrageenan-derived oligogalactans and 3,6-anhydro-L-galactose that bind water at the stratum corneum surface. Full mechanism and citations under Details and references.
A 50 ml / 1.69 fl oz daily moisturiser with no added fragrance, built on three actives: Hydrolyzed Rhodophyceae (Red Algae) Extract, Irvingia Gabonensis (Wild Mango) Kernel Butter, and Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid, over an Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice base with a Jojoba Seed Oil emollient layer. 100% natural origin, 22% organic origin, vegan eligible.

Hydrolyzed Rhodophyceae (Red Algae) Extract is derived from red macroalgae via enzymatic or mild acid hydrolysis. The hydrolysed form supplies oligosaccharide fragments (carrageenan-derived oligogalactans and 3,6-anhydro-L-galactose) that bind water at the stratum corneum surface and form a brief hygroscopic film during the wear window. Kappa-carrageenan tetrasaccharide supports stratum corneum hydration and transepidermal water loss balance in keratinocyte models1. 3,6-anhydro-L-galactose supports endogenous hyaluronic acid synthesis in HaCaT keratinocytes3. Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid is a glycosaminoglycan naturally present in skin that can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water2. Clinical evidence on emollient and humectant moisturisers in dry and barrier-compromised skin is summarised in a review of basic emollients4.

SCIENCE, MADE VISIBLE
Opuliss begins where the research ends. Every active is named, every claim is traceable, and nothing is left to promise alone.
Morning to night
A RITUAL, CONSIDERED
Each formula stands on its own and belongs to the whole. Layered with intention, morning and night, the routine becomes unmistakably yours.
A twenty four hour rhythm
THE SKIN KEEPS TIME
Skin is not the same at midnight as it is at nine in the morning. Across a single day its temperature, its acidity and the moisture it loses to the air each move on a rhythm of their own. Morning and night are not two routines. They are one, kept in time.
