Formulated for Dry Skin.

  • Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate), a humectant glycosaminoglycan naturally present in skin with a unique capacity to bind and retain water molecules, hydrates the surface of body skin without a tacky finish1.
  • Nasturtium Officinale (Watercress) Flower/Leaf Extract, a soothing skin-conditioning botanical listed by EU CosIng with a soothing function, supports body-skin comfort.
  • Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, a Ginkgo biloba-derived ingredient, is reported to function in cosmetics as an antioxidant2.

Hero mechanism: Sodium Hyaluronate, a humectant glycosaminoglycan, holds water at the surface to hydrate the skin. Full mechanism and citations under Details and references.

After showering, dispense a generous amount onto damp body skin and massage gently until absorbed. The water-based serum format absorbs cleanly without leaving a heavy lipid film. Suitable for daily body use.

Are there any side effects?

This product contains Coumarin (CAS 91-64-5), a naturally derived fragrance compound listed in the ingredient list and disclosed above the 0.001% leave-on threshold. Coumarin may be a sensitization trigger for those with documented fragrance allergen reactions.

Does it actually work?

This body serum is built on Sodium Hyaluronate, a humectant known in cosmetics for its strong water-binding potential, for a smoother, firmer, more hydrated-looking finish.

What is the correct way of applying serum?

What is hyaluronic acid good for?

Hyaluronic acid is good for hydration: it binds water strongly, which is why skincare formulas use it. In a 60-day randomised study, creams with 0.1% hyaluronic acid improved skin elasticity around the eyes at all five molecular weights tested, and skin hydration at four of the five, compared with a placebo cream (Pavicic 2011). This body serum carries it as Sodium Hyaluronate.

EU 26-allergen disclosure (above the 0.001% leave-on labelling threshold): Parfum, Linalyl Acetate, Linalool, Coumarin, plus Patchouli and Cedar essential oil constituents. A 24-hour patch test on the inner forearm is recommended before first use. Avoid contact with eyes.

SCIENCE, MADE VISIBLE

Opuliss begins where the research ends. Every active is named, every claim is traceable, and nothing is left to promise alone.

Morning to night

A RITUAL, CONSIDERED

Each formula stands on its own and belongs to the whole. Layered with intention, morning and night, the routine becomes unmistakably yours.

A twenty four hour rhythm

THE SKIN KEEPS TIME

Skin is not the same at midnight as it is at nine in the morning. Across a single day its temperature, its acidity and the moisture it loses to the air each move on a rhythm of their own. Morning and night are not two routines. They are one, kept in time.

Yosipovitch G et al. Journal of Investigative Dermatology, 1998 (PMID 9424081). Sixteen volunteers sampled every two hours across a twenty four hour span.
