CELLULAR ANTI-AGING ASCORBYL GLUCOSIDE SERUM

Stable vitamin c for antioxidant defence

Defends against daily stress with stabilised vitamin C.

The texture

A stabilised vitamin C serum built on 2% ascorbyl glucoside. This glycosylated vitamin C derivative converts in skin to L-ascorbic acid for antioxidant defence, while ferulic acid supports antioxidant stability and multi-weight hyaluronic acid hydrates.

The study behind it

Ascorbyl Glucoside is a stable vitamin C derivative that skin converts to active vitamin C. In lab-grown skin, a formula with 1.8% ascorbyl glucoside was as effective an antioxidant as one with 15% vitamin C, and unlike vitamin C it stayed stable in storage.1

  1. 1 Jacques C, et al. International Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2021 (PMID 34679221).

How to use it

  1. Apply two to three drops to clean skin in the morning, after toner and before moisturiser.
  2. Layer a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily. Vitamin C pairs well with morning application under sunscreen.
  3. Suitable for daily morning use.

Your two-step ritual

The pair that goes with the formula you chose, in the order you use them. Add both in one tap.

Step 2, moisturizer

CELLULAR ANTI-AGING PROTECTIVE DAY CREAM

Defends and hydrates against daily environmental stress.

Stabilised vitamin C goes on first, for antioxidant defence against daily stress. The protective day cream then hydrates and defends the look of skin through the day.

Supports firmer, more elastic skin

HEXAPEPTIDE FIRMING SERUM

Hexapeptide-11 is a synthetic signal peptide studied in human dermal fibroblasts, where published research reported support for the skin's proteostasis processes and an improvement in skin elasticity in an in vivo deformation assay.2

Smooths and renews, without retinol

CELLULAR ANTI-AGING BIORETINOL SERUM

Bidens Pilosa Extract is a botanical studied as a plant-based retinol alternative. Tested on its own in the lab, it gave a small rise in the activity of RXR alpha, a receptor retinol also works through, without activating RAR gamma, the receptor linked to retinol irritation.3

Strengthens the barrier overnight

CERAMIDE BARRIER NIGHT CREAM

Ceramides are barrier lipids that make up much of the skin's outer layer, studied in cosmetics for supporting barrier function and moisture retention for a smoother, more resilient-looking surface overnight.4
