What are the bad side effects of echinacea?
Applied to skin, the side effect to know about is an allergic reaction. Echinacea is in the daisy family (Asteraceae, also called Compositae), so if you have a known Compositae or ragweed allergy, patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before regular use. This cream also contains the fragrance allergens Benzyl Salicylate, Limonene, Citral and Linalool.

Contains Echinacea Purpurea (Coneflower) Extract, an Asteraceae botanical. If you have a known Compositae or ragweed allergy, patch test before regular use. The mineral pigments (Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Tin Oxide) provide an even-tone visual finish only and do not function as sunscreen, so layer with a dedicated SPF. Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before facial use.
