Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan naturally present in skin that can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water2. In a 30-day randomised self-control study, a four-strain Lactobacillus lysate cosmetic blend improved transepidermal water loss and hydration endpoints in sensitive-skin subjects3.
